A Relaxed Walk, Designed for You
Walking with me, Walter, is more than a stroll, it’s a journey through history, nature, and storytelling. Conversation is as much a part of the adventure as walking.
Through the peaceful Irish countryside, we’ll explore social history, emigration, geography, flora and fauna, farming, archaeology, and folklore, all surrounded by stunning landscapes.
We follow quiet country roads and boreens, pausing often to chat about what’s around us. It’s a chance to breathe fresh air, enjoy light exercise, and share curiosity with like minded people.
Each walk is flexible, tailored to your interests. Whether for the scenery, stories, or social connection, you’re warmly invited to walk and talk in my part of Ireland.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FROM PORTLAND OREGON
Last May, Walter Power provided me with a wonderful tour of the area where my ancestors lived before leaving during the famine. Walter immediately impressed me with his knowledge and how easy it was to talk with him as he was relaxed and confident.HYSTERICAL HISTORICAL FUN
Walking with Walter is a fun, educational, very historic, and often an hysterical way to enjoy our wonderful Irish countryside.MAGIC ON THE HUMPS AND IN THE HOLLOWS
There is not a hump or a hollow where Walter does not find something extraordinary in the ordinary and he can weave a magical spell around every bend.CONVERSATIONS IN AN ANCIENT PLACE
Walkwithwalter around the ancient area of Sliabh Dile are both entertaining and educational. The history and folklore of each walk, mingled with the jovial conversations of the walkers are most enjoyable. Our Walks
